Glenn Spiegelman - Planetary Images

Here are some Planetary Images I took.

Mars |
This image of Mars was taken around 2:00 AM on the morning
of 8/7/2003. Mars, at this time, was nearly at its' closet
distance from Earth in around 60,000 years |

Jupiter |
This image of Jupiter was taken early in the morning of Sept
10, 2001. The moons Gannymeade, Europa and Calisto were lined up
perfectly for this image |

Jupiter |
This image of Jupiter was take on January 29, 2003. Notice
the change in arrangement of the moons. In this image, we find
Io to the right, and on the left we have Europa and Calisto |

Saturn |
This image of Saturn was taken during the Society Night on
Oct 21, 2001. Saturn was still fairly low in the sky, but I
managed to get some detail of Casinis' division, and even a hint
of the shadow of Saturn on the ring, and the ring on Saturn |

Uranus |
This image of Uranus was taken on August 21, 2004 after the
Public viewing even t of that evening. |
